Liverpool’s quest to the Premier League title continued on Saturday night with a 1-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Brazilian international Roberto Firmino scored the only goal of the match.

This victory against spurs sees Liverpool go 38 league games without defeat as they ensured 20th win of the season after playing 21 matches. The unstoppable Reds have now accumulated 61 points after 21 leagues matches which is a record. Liverpool are the first team in Europe’s top five leagues to ever do so.

Klopp’s men are 16-points clear on top of the Premier League with a game in hand. Son Heung-Min and substitute Giovani lo Celso wasted good chances that could ensure Spurs levelled the scores or even secure a victory at home.
