It’s unheard of that not only one of the richest musicians in Uganda but also in East Africa can’t pay for services provided for. Popular Ugandan singer Jose Chameleone recently has attracted the attention of many, rumours have emerged that he has not paid for garage services. The veteran singer is being blamed for neglecting to pay a debt of Kshs 305,000 due to the repair of his Escalade car.
Talking to Spark TV, the mechanic who works at Kasim Auto Spares in Kampala has disclosed that it’s almost three months after he fixed the musician’s vehicle and still, he hasn’t received any payment from the artist.
“I repaired his car, installed a new gearbox, brake fluid, computer and programming, front hub and bearings, fuel nozzles, plugs, tyre repairing, labour, among other things,” said the mechanic.
