Lionel Messi hit one more milestone on Tuesday night, October 29 as he scored the 50th free-kick of his career for Barcelona against Real Valladolid.
During the game, the captain of Barcelona had already provided an assist by teeing up Arturo Vidal to make it 2-1 and adding the third of the hosts on 34 minutes after Nelson Semedo was fouled.
Messi kicked the ball over the wall and passed Valladolid goalkeeper Jordi Masip’s outstretched left hand scoring his 50th career free-kick. Leo is also miles in ahead of any player regarding to scoring free-kicks across Europe in recent seasons.

Other players who scored during the game were centre back Clement Lenglet, Arturo Vidal and Luis Suarez. The victory saw the Catalonian returning to the top of La Liga table having played 10 matches.

The Argentina Legend also set a record by edging his fierce rival Christian Ronaldo in Career goals as he has scored 608 goals in 695 games while CR7 has 606 career goals in 813 games.
