The time she left her news anchoring job, her fans started speculating that she had gotten a superior line of work elsewhere. Nonetheless, the former TV girl has disclosed why she quitted Citizen TV was to establish a mother-son bond.
She standouts amongst other TV reporters in Kenya, Janet has turned out to eliminate any speculations behind why she resigned from a genuinely worthwhile gig at one of Kenya’s largest media companies. Janet Mbugua was on top of her career when she chose to throw in the towel to the astonishment of a large number of her fans.
After her quitting rumours spread all over the internet that she had landed a spot in another top Media house, something that never came to pass. During an interview with Betty Kyallo on Weekend with Betty, the former news anchor unveiled the genuine explanation she felt that the time had come to take a break was that she believed she was losing her connection with her child.
Currently, she is back on TV facilitating her very own show and she is even a writer who as of late published the book “My First Time, yes that’s the name.” Janet is also active when it comes to girl empowerment and menstrual hygiene.
